Now winter Autumn has hit, its time to dig out the longer sleeved jersey dress.
My mum almost bought me this dress but dismissed it as its from the Mantaray range and this is a bit of an odd brand for the both of us, it trys so hard to be good but then has random curveballs of not needed frills or buttons or embroidery at least in the clothes.
When i saw this dress i loved the colours and the print. i decided to try it and i really liked it.
Wearing it is another matter. i always feel that its not quite right, don't get me wrong i don't feel awful in it but there are a few features that i'd have changed.
The neck is one, if you stand still its fine, but as soon as i move it gapes, i almost always forget to wear a vest under it but today i wore one and i felt much better.
My next design fault is the arms, the sleeves are too long and there is too much fabric.
these are not enough to stop me wearing it or think about getting it altered.
This was also in the sale, i can't remember how much i paid for it but i think it was on 70% off sale so was pretty cheap!
what do you think of it?
I love that brand but as its so expensive I've only ever bought something when it was 70% off! I think the dress is lovely on you
ReplyDeleteHi Thanks for the comment and compliment, i think as a brand it can be a bit hit and miss and seems to be aimed at an older market, but with a little bit of tweaking and better price it could me loved by more people
