OOTD Saturday

Saturday - I'm still wearing dresses on the weekend.
I am also trying to take pictures using the self timer. I don't seem to have any surface at the right hight to get a decent shot
I've got my moneys worth out of this £6 dress, I think I've worn it 3 or 4 times already

Hen Do

This weekend i went on a hen do in a Scottish Forest, I've created an album on FB but just posting a small selection of photo's here. mainly because most photos have other people on them and i'm not sure if they'd want to be on the blog.
This was our first view of the place a shot from the car park.
Woo the tent is up. there is no way this is a 2 man tent but it's where i called home for the weekend.
This is the roundhouse they had hired. it was very dark inside. i have a few pictures but as i take 90% of my pictures portrait and the net book won't rotate them i might have to do an additional post with the others when i can get to a pc.
We made the most of a wheelbarrow we borrowed.
The view from my tent vent. The Tipi we had also hired and my friends tent
A very unflattering picture of me playing quotes. i didn't get a single point.
Me before i had a go at the Pinata. we didn't have a blindfold but the owl mark was so hard to see out of we used that!
I was a ladybird, but i was so cold i had to wear the microfleece!

This weekend

This weekend I’m going on a Hen do in Scotland for my friend’s sister. We are Camping in Mabie Forest.
Marthrown of Mabie - Forest weddings, woodland camping, bunkhouse, American Tipi and Mongolian Yurt accommodation in south west Scotland.
This is where we are going
She has hired an Iron Age Roundhouse and a Tipi, but most of us are taking tents.
While I don’t consider myself high maintenance I don’t really do camping!
So it will be an experience and a half! I am now the proud owner of a tent and I am really looking forward to it.
My list so far consists of
·         Tent
·         Sleeping bag
·         Sleeping mat
·         Pillow
·         Torch
·         Picnic blanket
·         Tooth brush / paste
·         Wet wipes
·         Loo roll

Shopping

My mum is a confirmed shopaholic and to be fair I’m not far behind her!

The next sale started this morning, the day la mama jetted off on holiday. She really wanted a few things from the next sale and even a 7AM VIP slot couldn't deliver what she wanted.

I had the challenge to try and get her some things and I failed miserably.

All I managed to get her was the Owl T-shirt in Navy in a size smaller than she wanted. I’m going to have to go to the one in Manchester on Monday to see if I can exchange it.

I did get myself a dress, it is a little bit too small across the chest, they only has it in an 18's and I’m considering taking it back as it think it will be a bugger to iron but I do kind of love it. And £20.00 instead of £42.

I popped into Peacocks mainly to use their changing rooms to take today's photos. We don't have a full length mirror at home and never have had one and no one knows why!

I did buy myself a dress and I love love love it. £9.00 reduced from £20.00 which makes it a much better bargain than the next one and it won't need ironing at all!!!! I got it in 20 and it’s roomy, but I think an 18's would have been stretched out of all proportion.

What do we think? Keep, Return?

My mum got me a dress from Peacocks sale yesterday which I have been lusting after for a few weeks. It's one with a dippy hem. (Is there a true name for that style?) I’m wearing it tonight when I got to the opening of a new hairdressers / beauty place then on for a Curry with my friend Nat
