The AF Bloggers Budget Challenge - November

I've been following a blogged called Sera for a long time now, initially I followed her Slimming World blog but when she moved in to fashion I carried on following her.

For a while now she has been involved in fashion challenges. After a lovely chat on Twitter it was decided to do a Plus Size / Curvy edition. Now even as a "BIG" girl I don't know what the correct or polite terminology is.

The challenge is called
The other ladies in the challenge are:
Sera  - who organised it all
Beth
Kathryn
Kellie
The jist is 4 bloggers one store one theme, all the clothes are from Clothing at Tesco -Party Range

As a massive fan of Tesco clothing I was very excited, I go to my local store a fair bit and just before the challenge I’d been to the Tesco Home store in Denton and seen lots of nice things. I'm not a massive fan of shopping on line and initially struggled finding things I’d seen in store available in my size (20/22) on line.

The "Theme" was Christmas Party Wear. I knew exactly which dress I wanted from the True Range. Black and with Lace - as a normal avoider of black i thought it'd be nice for a change.

We got given £30 so with my spare £12 I wanted to get shoes but the ones I liked or they weren't available in my size, so I did a bit of panic buying and got a jacket and a cardie from the sale area.

I also need to apologise for the photo quality my camera is eating memory cards so I'm using the internal memory.

The Dress was £18 from the True Range - this is a range I tend to avoid as I can just about fit into the standard F&F range but as this was a plus size challenge decided to run with it.

I love the dress, its really nice good quality material, the main dress is a thick Jersey and the lace is nice and stretchy so i don't feel restricted.  Sadly i don't think the shape is very flattering on me.
Dress Size 22 - Tesco £18
I also got this Kimono style jacket, I didn't realise (even though the title should have told me) it was flowery I thought it was dotty. I just don't know how it is meant to look when its on.
Jacket Size 22 Tesco £7
I love the white waterfall front cardie they only had it in a 16 but it fits! I thought it might dress down the outfit so I could wear it for work.
Cardie Size 16 Tesco £5

Shoes Size 7 M&S
I have plans to wear this dress for a friends 30th in December and I will be teaming it with Black tights and some Navy and Black Heels from M&S, the theme of her Party is B&W however I don't like this combo so thought I’d add the blue to cheer me up.

Want, Like and Need!

As I’ve already mentioned I’m not a but online shopper, however since starting documenting my clothes in the past couple of days I’ve been blog hopping and I’ve decided to make a list of a few things I’ve come across that I

Want, Like and Need!

 First up is:
Want: Hot Air Balloon earrings I found these on Sarah Lou’s Blog and there are some really cute things in the Etsy store. Not sure I will be buying them at the moment but I think nearer to Christmas I will be back.

Need: Next up a Tatty Devine Name Necklace, My name is pretty long 9 letters and I’m not sure how it'd look. I could go for the shortened version Steph, but when I was younger my name was rarely seen on mass produced personalised items so when I get something with my name on it has to be my "Sunday" name. If I could I’d get my middle name as well but most things only let you have 9 letters max if you're lucky.

An Example of a Tatty Devine Necklace

Like: I’ve also seen this one on Punky Pins  but it’s not exactly what I’d want
I don't wear much make up as a rule, but I did get a naked pallet from duty free last year and I love it and I’m keen to try other urban decay products, I’d love to find some reviews on this product as I am reluctant to spend £28 on a foundation, but I’m thinking if it is on offer at some point I might try it.

ASOS Curve - Part 2, The Delivery

I am impressed!

I ordered some items around 11PM on Thursday night from ASOS Curve  and they'd arrived before 9AM today.
Clap Hands its arrived
I make that 1/2 day delivery excluding weekend. I'd had chosen the free 6 day dlivery, mainly because I am loathed to pay for P&P i really hate it. I got an email on Saturday night at 11PM to day the items had been dispatched, but i assumed they go and sit in a warehouse till Friday just to tease me, but no i got to work (late ops) and our receptionist messaged me to say a parcle had arrived. i did mean to give her a heads up but I didn't get the chance.

As I'm still in work I've not had a chance to try things on, but i have opened them and felt the fabrics. I'm disappointed by one dress as it feels and looks very thin but i will reserve judgement until i can try them on.

Sneaky Peak
I'm really excited to get home and try them on!

ASOS Curve - Part 1 The Order

Last night after looking through a few blogs i discovered Linzerello Fatshion now I've followed her WW blog for quite some time and not sure how i missed the fact she had a fashion blog. some lovely posts go and read it.

Through her i discovered ASOS Curve . I'm not a massive fan of online shopping, if i want something i need it here and now. I also like to be able to feel fabrics and try things on, but 3 8 things caught my eye.

I've ordered 4 of them. The links are below

I've taken advantage of the free 6 day deliver and had things sent to work (ops hope i don;t get shouted at!)

I was also impressed they offer a delivery to collection points which tends to be corner shops looking at the places on offer in my area, including the shop on my street, which will be a bonus if work shout at me and i decide to order more items!

i was also impressed to see a next day evening delivery option £7.95, which if you are desperate for your order could be worth paying. this offered a slot between 4PM and 10PM.

I',m hoping i love everything I've ordered and more importantly it fits. I'm almost wishing I'd paid for next day delivery but I'm sure I'll get over it :0)
